Conor McCarthy signed for Swindon Town in a loan-deal until the end of the season from League One outfit Barnsley.
An international for Ireland at U21 level, Conor started out with Cork City in his homeland, even making appearances in the EUROPA and UEFA Champions League.
The Irishman was a regular as the 2022/23 season began, but an ACL injury suffered at the end of September cruelly ended his campaign prematurely.
McCarthy joined Swindon for the rest of the season on loan from Barnsley FC.
