Town First-Team Coach Ross Embleton sat down with Swindon’s Official YouTube Channel earlier today to look ahead to our Sky Bet League One clash against Bradford City on Saturday.
“Bradford is a very difficult place to go and having watched the last couple of games, it doesn’t look as if the pitch is in the best of conditions so that always makes it very difficult,” he said.
“And, on top of that, they are a very well followed football club so we know the atmosphere is going to be a difficult one for the boys to perform in.
“They are all things we expect when you go to clubs with the history, the quality and the backing that a club like Bradford have got, so we know what we’re walking into.
“We’ve looked at them in detail over the last week or so and they are a strong team, but they are also a good football team in this division.
“They’ve got some really talented individuals and we need to make sure we are aware of them but, as is always the case, we need to try and stamp our own personality on the game and continue to try and create chances as we have done over the last few weeks.
“We need to try and hit the ground running and get off to a good start and that will obviously give the boys some confidence to try and put together a longer performance.”
